As indicated by its namesake, the Rambler Overdrive is Rambler Effects' flagship overdrive. An adaptation of the Marshall Bluesbreaker™ circuit, the Rambler Overdrive can go from pushing your amp to the edge of breakup to the roar of a screaming stack and takes several boutique adaptations to the next level.

The flagship Rambler Overdrive Deluxe takes the Rambler moniker to heart.  It's been described as a "library of textures and tones" by those who've flipped through the seemingly endless number of combinations of clipping and boost, and no matter your style (or styles) you will find your sound and a whole lot more.

Controls

• Volume - Sets the overall output level

• Tone - Passive tone control that attenuates more high frequency signal as it is turned counter-clockwise

• Gain - Controls the gain - from a slightly dirty boost to medium overdrive

• Presence - Further shapes the treble response. Emulates a power amp eq section

• Soft Clipping switch

  • 3-way (on/off/on) - Choose from 2 soft clipping sections or turn soft clipping off for a clean boost

• Hard Clipping switch

  • Activates the 6-way clipping switch

• 6-way clipping selector

  • Selects from 6 hard-clipping options
