who we are

Chris Ingham and Jeff Hyman met in 2017 in Nashville and quickly became good friends. United by their love of music, (guitar in particular) they began playing and writing music. While Chris was recording his most recent album, Pretty Face, he and Jeff co-wrote their first song together - which became the album’s eponymous track. Realizing the potential of the partnership, Chris invited Jeff to team up with him in his new venture, Rambler Records.

From that bedroom in 2008, a tiny studio apartment in LA, and numerous spare bedrooms, I’ve written and recorded countless songs, several albums, mixed live performances, and helped a few people get their songs recorded and out to the world. In the fall of 2018, I began to build my own pro recording studio; with the proper sound engineering, equipment and software to create a commercially competitive product. I wanted to create a recording space that was acoustically-excellent, had professional equipment, but still felt like you were playing in your living room.

I am proud to bring you Rambler Records, a studio that I hope will inspire others to pursue the music inside of them, as I have been inspired to follow mine. As owner and head producer, I invite you to see (and hear) what we are all about at Rambler Records - bringing your music to life and helping you get your music out to the world!
